What is Meditation

Anapanasati Meditation

‘Ana’ means ‘In-Breath’
‘Apana’ means ‘Out-Breath’
‘Sati’ means ‘Be With’

In “Anapanasati Meditation“,
the attention of the mind should constantly be on the normal, natural breath.
The task on hand is effortful, joyful oneness with the breath.
No ”mantra” to be chanted…
no form of any ‘ deity ‘ to be entertained in the mind…
no hathayogic pranayama like ‘ kumbhaka ‘..
holding the breath.. should be attempted.

Meditation is being with our own self, loving our own self, spending time with our own self. Meditation silences the restless waves of mind, thereby preserving soul energy leading to holistic health and peaceful mind.

Procedure:

Meditation can be done in any comfortable sitting posture either on floor or on chair. Cross your feet, clasp your hands, fingers into fingers, close your eyes. Observe your normal, natural and easy flow of breath. Don’t chant any mantra or think of any God or any master. As and when thoughts arise in the mind, cut them forth-with and again come back to the natural inhalation and exhalation of breath.

Science of Meditation

We have three laws in The Science of Meditation.
First Law says:” When we are with the Breath, the Mind becomes Empty”.
Second Law says: ” When the Mind is Empty, huge amounts of Cosmic Energy flows into the physical body”.
Third Law says: When huge amounts of Cosmic Energy floods into the physical body, gradually the dormant third-eye begins to become activated.

Pyramid Meditation:

Meditation done inside a pyramid, or underneath a pyramid, is called as Pyramid Meditation. Pyramid is a wonderful construction which receives abundant amount of Cosmic Energy. They are like store-houses of Cosmic Energy. Meditation done inside a Pyramid is thrice more powerful. Pyramids provide most effective high-energy environments for beginners of meditation. Thought free meditation state can be attained more quickly inside a pyramid.
